The 2026 Woodstock Labor Day Invitational

The Labor Day weather was beautiful this year in Woodstock, New York. And in perfect accompaniment to an afternoon of clear blue skies, the Glasco National Disc Golf Course hosted a 'Labor Day Invitational.'

In a surprise turn of events, Kingston local Joe LaManna finished first, shooting a mighty 11-under. Woodstock's Steven Capozzola finished second with a score of 5-under.

It was Capozzola who posted one of the day's most exciting moments--nearly sinking his approach shot on the par-four 5th hole. But it was not to be. As LaManna later observed, "No one was gonna catch me today."

The Woodstock Disc Golf Club organized the invitational, part of a festive weekend of events in the venerable artistic community.
