In Snow and Age

It's been a very snowy, very cold winter here in New York. For weeks, we've had far too much snow on the ground to play any disc golf.

With all that snow, it's just not possible to throw a disc. A person would stumble trying to even X-step forward. And with such deep snow, they'd never find their disc after it lands.

Something fun to do, though, is to hike through the snow and putt at various baskets. It's a way to still get out on the disc golf course and play-- to get in some exercise and still toss a disc.

This gives me an idea. Some day, when I'm too old or injured to play disc golf any more, I might still walk a disc golf course. And maybe putt at the baskets.

I realize that I just love to walk on a disc golf course. And if I can still putt, I'll be able to make some "sport" of it.

Just a thought, as life moves along...
