Here’s a heck of a shot. In round 2 of this week's 2025 European Disc Golf Championship, Eveliina Salonen aced the par-four 407-foot 12th hole with an absolutely perfect backhand drive.
Salonen’s hole-in-one on a par-four is known as an “albatross”—a three-under-par score on a single hole. (Albatrosses are extremely rare. Philo Braithwaite sank one at the Beaver State Fling in 2016.)
Last weekend, Salonen nailed a 267-foot ace in the opening round of the 2025 U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championships. She went on to win that tournament to capture her fourth major championship.
Congrats to Salonen on her ace streak.
